Low bed trailer – the all-rounder on the construction site
Total weight: 5 t – 25 t

Our low-loaders are designed for tough construction site use!

When manufacturing our low bed trailers, we rely on a solid, well thought-out design and professional welding work. The cross-sections of the chassis are closely spaced. Features that are particularly important when transporting machines with a high point load.

A good parabolic suspension unit ensures good traction even on rough terrain.

The ramps, which allow the machines to easily access the loading area, are laterally adjustable and solidly built. They are easy to lift using a ramp spring lifting gear (from 10 t GG), which is located under the loading area and is almost indestructible and does not need to be replaced – this saves on maintenance costs! The favourable drive-on angle is achieved by a sloping rear and a low loading height. Recessed lashing hooks are incorporated in the side profile at a distance of 1.2 metres (can be extended to every 0.6 metres) and thus offer sufficient options for properly lashing the transported goods. The telescopic supports cannot get stuck in the ground and the lights are mounted in the underride guard. The softwood floor allows the machines to bounce, has a good coefficient of friction and the top floor (for 21t/25/ low loaders) can be replaced easily and cost-effectively. The steel dropsides are robust and the high-quality paintwork also makes your fleet look good on the road as outdoor advertising. Do you need to load general cargo or pallets from the side? No problem. The laser-welded steel drop sides can be folded down to the side and also removed. The height of the drawbar can be infinitely adjusted using a winch and guarantees flexibility in the choice of towing vehicle.

We have been using the state-of-the-art EBS braking system with the TEM parking brake with Safe Parking on larger vehicles for years. From July 2024, the EBS braking system will be introduced on all air-braked trailers, as a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) must be installed due to new EU directives. (UPDATE AUGUST 2024: Retroactive cancellation of the obligation to fit TPMS with individual TÜV approval. Vehicles can now still be registered until 6 July 2026 without TPMS!)

We can provide you with expert advice on which low-loader and which equipment is suitable for your specific application. For example, we offer suitable low-loaders for pavers that require a drive-on angle of 10° for loading (see brochure “Everything for road construction”). We have a wide range of load securing devices and toolboxes in our programme. The low loaders are painted individually according to your wishes with high-quality truck paints from BASF/Glasurit – a hot-dip galvanised chassis, drawbar and ramps are also possible. Thanks to a wide range of equipment variants, the low loader can also be used as a combi trailer for transporting containers or roll-off containers!

The individual equipment and colour scheme makes you stand out as a company on the street and gives your company a face! Thanks to the high-quality and versatile equipment, the low-loaders are practical in daily use and also inexpensive to maintain.
